iPhone Password sharing feature

There are many features in the iPhone which many are unaware of. iPhone Password securely sharing within their own contact authorizing is one of them. If you are an iPhone user and would like to know about the subject matter then read it further.

This is just for a personal or group (selected contacts by you) that you can authorize to do so by using the sharing password feature in Apple iPhones.

We need to create a shared group for this so that the person in a group can easily access what you have saved password over there. It would help for iCloud as well.

Please note, it may work only for an iPhone 12 with iOS 17.4, or later iPhones.

How to securely share a password for an iPhone?

Step 1: Go to iPhone "Settings".

Step 2: Touch on the "Password" option.

Step 3: Use the "Face ID" option to move next.

Step 4: Touch the '+' Plus button (on the top right side).

Step 5: Touch on the "New Shared Group".

Step 6: Touch on the "Continue" option. You will see another screen.

Step 7: Enter some name on "Group name".

Step 8: Touch on "Add People" to add the person you like to share password.

Step 9: Enter the phone number or select the contact list name you want to add.

Step 10: Touch "Add" option on top right screen.

Step 11: Touch the "Create" option on the top right screen.

Step 12: Once you created the shared password group and the contact persons have accepted your invitation, you can share passwords by touching the password group under Password Settings. 

Step 13: To add another password to the shared password group, touch the "+" plus button on the same menu setting.

Step 14: In case you would like to add a new password to the shared group then touch on the "New Password" option.

Step 15: Here is almost the final step. You need to fill up the website name, the username associated with the password, and the password. Touch 'Done' to save it.

Step 16: In case, if you would like to add one of your existing passwords to the password group, touch on the "Move Passwords to Group" option. And touch on the "Move" option (top right screen) to complete it. You're done!

This may also work within iCloud or with other Apple latest devices.
