Atomberg inaugurated manufacturing plant in Pune
Atomberg has inaugurated its new state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in Bhamboli, Pune. Spread over 3,50,000 sq feet, this unit will have a capacity to manufacture 7.5 lakh fans / month, making it one of India’s largest manufacturing plants for fans.
The same plant will also support Atomberg’s foray into kitchen appliances with a manufacturing capacity of 25000 mixer grinders/month.
Atomberg has invested more than Rs 25 crores in setting up the current plant which is more than 4 times the size of their previous plant which was situated in Nerul, Navi Mumbai.
The new plant has end to end digitization of operations and deploys advanced material handling systems and integrated manufacturing with the highest level of process automation.
It will also generate employment for more than 1500 people, further strengthening the manufacturing ecosystem of Maharashtra.
With this enhanced manufacturing capacity, Atomberg is poised to scale up its current SKUs as well as launch newer models to continue its march of becoming one of the leaders in India’s home appliances market.
On the strength of its BLDC technology led ceiling fans, Atomberg has a current annual revenue run rate of 700 crores and is one of the most successful manufacturing led startup to emerge out of India.
