V7 unboxing:
When opened the Vivo V7 box, we able to find a beautiful black color smartphone, a charger, earphone, manual, transparent case and SIM ejector etc. The device looks pretty, sleek, and the design is unique compare to other smartphones including its earlier version V7 plus. It is not a metallic body though.
The button is well placed and SIM tray is better compare to other devices. You can use two nano SIM and one microSD card, gently. The fingerprint features helps to fast unlocking the device. It also have facial unlock and it specially works well in a brighter atmosphere.
V7 specification and features:
Other than Android 7.1.2 operating system, the device also has Funtouch OS for better interface and additional features. The V7 is released with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory.
V7 is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 450 Octa-core 1.8GHz processor beside the 4GB RAM. The V7 is built with 5.7 inch 720x1440px IPS display and 18:9 ratio.
The touch, navigation, user interface are working smoothly. You can set the game mode through the 'setting' option for the best gaming result. No lag. The smart split is available in the device for multi-tasking at the same time. The OTG feature also available in the device. This could be one of the best smartphone for selfie and other features.
There is a setting and option for camera, the user can use rear or front camera with one of three options. Yes, there is Normal view, Full view and Square view. You can select from the camera setting accordingly. Both the camera from any mode, result is really superb whether it could be of HDR or Portrait Bokeh or Live Photo etc. doesn't matter for it. It has best low light camera all in all.

V7 Camera performances:
The other challenge in almost all smartphone camera is all about the selfie (front) camera in the low light environment. This device works well for the selfie in the dark mode and the user have to be patience to get the right shot in a right moment without shaky. Rest the 24MP will give the best result out of it using its sensor. The 16MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture performs better as well.
The battery of the phone is fine and able to use it for a whole day without any concern. The phone looks like competitor to Oppo F5 smartphone. Both of them going well.
Some unique features in V7:
Face beauty for video call
Pulse notification light
Global search
Super Screenshot
Game mode
Vivo V7 pros:
Design specially front area
Slim and light weight
24MP selfie camera
FullView with different mode
microSD slot
Battery life
Vivo V7 cons:
Plastic body (back)
Low resolution display
Over priced
Vivo V7 price: INR: 18,990/=* (launched price). This is the only thing let us remind to compare with the other brand latest devices. V7 price seems little higher. Rest there is no any issue in it.
Overall rating from Excalibur / Tech Calibre: 7/10
