Unisys Cloud 20/20 version 7 Technical Project Contest winners
Unisys India announced the
winners of the seventh edition of Unisys Cloud 20/20 to deserving candidates on
their outstanding and innovative projects. These projects done by couple of IIT
institutes across southern part of India and respective students, they had
practiced their expertise project since six months to participate in this
contest.
Unisys India conducts one of
India’s largest annual technical project contests. This is just to bring forth
innovative thinking around for technology development. This year, the topic to participate
were, Internet of Things, Cloud-based application and services, Data analytics,
Computing everywhere, Cloud security, Potential future technology and Context rich
system.
After several rounds of
evaluation to select the winners and runners, under the category of Student
Innovation Projects (SIP), “God’s Secret Key” project and participant teams won
the winner title. They are, Laavanya N., Sofeiyakalaimathy C., and
Priyadharshiny S. from Pondicherry Engineering College, Puducherry, India. This
is something new and demonstrated with the example of human’s DNA to appearance
and likewise their project too can be of helpful within the same way for tech
project.
The second prize won by
Vellore Institute of Technology student Ankush Rai for “Internet Vigilante”. This
project helps to identify the various mischief act around.
The third prize won by Mangalore
Institute of Technology & Engineering student Shibin George and Prinson V.
Jacob for “Triplet Li-Fi” project. This Triplet Li-Fi can be of helpful to act
thrice in a same mode, for example, it can simultaneously work at the same time
for nuclear area, flight and sea / ship etc.
The fourth prize won by Pondicherry
Engineering College student J. Kanimozhi and I. Valarmathi for “A Smartphone enabled
behavior monitoring system for alerting drowsy and distracted drivers”.
