Coolpad has chrome frame running around the body. The edges are curved towards the rear side. It is a simple design element, a better grip. Its volume adjustment is at the left side and the home for power button at right side. It has the microUSB port at the bottom and the audio jack is at the top edge.

Coolpad Note 3  has the camera and an LED flash at the rear beside USP of the phone - the finger print scanner as a unique addition. This gadget is comfortable though its bigger screen size. Coolpad Note 3 is designed with a 5.5 inch display at a HD resolution of 720 x 1280. It has a better sunlight legibility. It has Gorilla Glass 3 protection against scratches and damages though it shows a lot of smudges.

Coolpad Note 3 comes with MediaTek MT6753 Octa core processor and 1.3 GHz clock speed. The processor is 64 bit compatible. It is with 3 GB RAM helps user for multitasking experience. That is one of the best features from Coolpad Note 3, and that too at this price range.

Graphics are handled by Mali T720 MP2 GPU. As above stated, the finger print scanner is a new one and its app can be found in the Main menu of the Smartphone itself. The user can use it effectively which is quite impressive with its performance. The initial scanning and its performance further is fantastic. This is one of the best smartphone for playing game too.

The smartphone has a 16 GB inbuilt memory though user can utilize 10.9 GB. As usual, user have option of expandable memory support using microSD card which let you store 64 GB of memory.

Coolpad Note 3 built with a 13 MP rear camera and the f/2.0 aperture which perform the images with quite comfortable clarity. The flash lighting picture or without lighting picture – both are perfect output as long as you hold it and click it on-time. The image editing option is fantastic though the in-built design for image editing and changes is not as good as original image taken. There is a PRO mode other than photo and video which lets you change the settings for white balance, exposure and ISO. The 5 MP front camera is great for selfies. You can use the finger print scanner to take selfies. 

Coolpad Note 3 comes with Android Lollipop 5.1. Customization is provided by what Coolpad calls Cool UI. There is a feature named Multitask which helps to use two apps simultaneously on a single screen.

There are few pre installed apps like Coolstore from Coolpad, other apps like Quikr, Naukri, Valet, WeChat, WPS Office, Facebook, WhatsApp etc. You may enjoy the gadget to play game as well as an entertainment.

Coolpad Note 3 comes with inbuilt a 3000 mAh massive powerhouse which actually tested and says that it can stay a long for 10 days as standby. When I tested it myself, the battery took a bit longer to fully charge.
