Roaming free - Five States, One Rate from Aircel
I had to attend one more
Blogger’s / Media’s event today for Aircel’s ‘Five states roaming free’ feature
launched and it is probably the first ever in history of the Telecom industry too. The event was at
ITC Gardenia and briefed was just an hour or so about their latest telecom tech and operational development. Find the best mobile tariff in India, or, the best mobile roaming tariff in India.
Aircel introduced its
innovative free roaming in South with ‘Five
States, One Rate’ effective from 11th Jun 2015. This feature
includes incoming calls free within these five states (Karnataka,
Tamilnadu, Andhra, Telangana and Kerala) and outgoing @ 1p/Sec for local and
roaming states listed. The Aircel customers are going to get these benefits and
it is not required additional roaming charges for either postpaid customer or
prepaid customer or new customer. SMS and Pocket Internet packs will remain unchanged and customer can continue them as usual with applicable rates.
Aircel customers in these states are going to get the roaming free offers and benefit by default with effective from 11th Jun 2015. The Aircel customer has nothing to do it manual or SMS activation for this service etc.
Aircel is one of the India’s
leading Mobile service provider, it is remained as a strong telecom player in
South India for Calls and Data services. Aircel was initiated the service in Karnataka
during first quarter of the 2009 and going successfully. Aircel is pan-India 2G
operator with 3G spectrum in 13 circles, BWA spectrum in 8 circles and is well
known with the 3G roll out ever in the India Telecom space, including offering
6-9am free 3G service to experiment its customer initially before moving up.
After many questions with
Kanwarbir Singh, Circle Business Head, Aircel, Karnataka, stated that “We
all like to live in a world without boundaries and restrictions and this
insight is the true inspiration for ‘Five States, One Rate’ offers”. I hope this is one of the best mobile tariff in India for the customers.
Now, it is not necessary for
the Aircel customer to avoid taking calls while roaming. Feel free to take the
calls while roaming and enjoy the talks for your business or personal one.
Note: Customer has to make
sure the Aircel tower is intact while roaming or else there will be some
charges / deductions from tie up network for using other than Aircel tower and
