Honor V10 smartphone's review

We tried to review this phone and publishing few points over here though we can't cover entire AI features in just one post. We will try to cover the rest in the next post as well. 

Honor V10 unboxing:

The View10 smartphone unboxing and found that of a metallic body and its box contains a transparent case, a quick charger of 9W and 2 amp with type C pin, SIM ejector, screen guard pre-applied, guideline etc. (this is review unit so not sure about the content of the retail unit but expect the same contents in it).

Honor V10 design:

First the phone's first impression is rich and sleek with bezel-less or less-bezel one. The metalic body of V10 gives the extra-ordinary finishing and shining. It is great to hold it. We have already mentioned Honor V10 specification and price detail, you can check them.

The device is neither bulky nor light and easy to go with it beside various features in it specially Artificial Intelligence in this sleek design. The View10 has upfront finger print than back one whereas its competitors devices on 18:9 ratio have no finger-scan on front side. 

The back side of the smartphone looks plain and simple, there is a sensor and two rear beautiful (they may awkward for some) AI cameras at the back or else it might be a plain body.

 

The front side of the phone will let you even breath more. Yes, it is just beautiful either switch it off or on, doesn't matter. The 5.99 inch screen with 18:9 ratio full view display enrich the touch with 400 pixels per inch, browse and performances without any lag behind. 

The gadget has potential features and we try to publish very few out of them. The top of the phone has secondary noise cancellation microphone, and an IR blaster which the end user can use it as a remote control for TV etc. 

 

The volume rocket and power off / on button at the right side of the device. You will find a single speaker, USB type C and 3.5 jack for headphone at the bottom of the phone.

This phone might challenge the OnePlus 5T or iPhone 8 or Galaxy S8 or similar segment of other brands.

Honor V10 AI camera:

The brand says AI camera with the device using NPU processor. Most of the recent Honor devices have the same camera setting except few addition on this. The moving picture 'enable or disable' is there, portrait mode and wide aperture also available. 

 

The camera result on both (photos or videos) are awesome. Both of them given the best result in low-light condition from the front camera shoots (little poor in video result) which is one of the most challenges one.

View10 is released with 20 + 16 megapixel dual with an RGB and monochrome sensor rear cameras and a 13 MP front one with 300K result. We were unable to change the normal Camera resolution to 16:9 from 4:3 ratio and the same for Video camera from 720p (16:9) to a different one, they were grayed out. 

 

It might be the same from brand or it could be our ignorance somewhere. But such camera changes we have done in few different brand devices.

Honor V10 features:

We have already published about the V10 features in our earlier post beside the few points aforesaid, and to add this, please find some more herewith. The phone is powered by Huawei's own HiSilicon Kirin 970 10nm processor and Neural Processing Unit (NPU) as flagship for artificial intelligence feature.

The 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage is far better in this price range. The plus point is all about the latest Android Oreo operating system with this device and IoT addition. Honor V10 has two 4G SIM option with dual VoLTE standby beside microSD option. The SIM tray which made of plastic can be either used it for two nano SIM or one nano SIM with one microSD card on this hybrid slot.

The Audio feature beside 3.5 jack is smooth. The browsing and call quality also the best. The single speaker and its audio also gives the better voice. The network or tower reception also have no issues, the technology innovation plays important role. 

 

All in all the combined work of hardware and software performs the best for everything including speed, gaming, multiple tasks etc. Huawei Honor has done the bold and brave steps to bring some AI features, great job.

The Honor V10 has few inbuilt apps like Health and Phone Manager, and games like Asphalt Nitro, Bubble Bash 3, Danger Dash, Modern Combat, Spider Man etc. which the tiny addition would help the users. This is one of the best smartphones and best selling phone as of date. You might get the best deal as well. We suggest you to check the setting of the phone to know more features in it.

Honor V10 AI features:

There are few tiny addition which would help the end user. The translation app is one of them and it can be used for many language translation including voice translation. This is big topic to research and write other than few already combine mentioned herewith. We are sure that we will let you know in the next post about V10 AI features.
